Lisa Heile was born into a musical family so it’s no surprise that she began singing and playing the piano at an early age. By the time she graduated high school she had songs on the radio (written by her father Leo) and was performing in New York City.
While away at college Lisa picked up the guitar and began writing songs. Lisa majored in Philosophy and minored in Music at UMASS. While there, she studied music theory and performed with many talented musicians at Symphony Hall, Fanuel Hall, Club Passim, and various churches and colleges.
After graduation, Lisa began recording music for independent and major labels in Nashville, Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. She was featured on Dreamworks artist Chris Tart's version of "Love The One You're With", the single from the movie "Forces of Nature" starring Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck. Lisa also recorded with Grammy winning engineer Jon Ingoldsby (Modonna, Elton John, etc.), songwriter Robin Lerner (Faith Hill) and Genuine Childs (MTV).
Lisa is presently singing in NYC in a band lead by bass player Benny Rietveld (Santana, Miles Davis). She is also recording with producer/songwriter Tony Cariddi (Keith Richards, Jennifer Lopez) and continues to perform, record and write with the very talented Gerald Goode.
